Tradition, Expertise and Trust – more than 35 years of independent commodity control

Tradition, expertise and trust in independent commodity control

„"For me, independent cargo control is not just a business, but a shared family responsibility with over 35 years of history. My name is Lilyana Dimitrova and in this article I share how we combine the decades of practical experience of 'Total Cargo Inspection' with modern quality standards to build trust and security in every international trade transaction."‘

International trade is developing at an ever faster pace, and the requirements for quality, transparency and security of commercial transactions are constantly increasing. In this environment, independent cargo control plays a key role, providing objectivity and confidence for all participants in the supply chain. Behind each inspection are expert knowledge, professional responsibility and commitment to quality - principles that are the basis of Total Cargo Inspection's activities.

In my professional career, I have always perceived independent commodity control not just as an activity, but as a responsibility. Responsibility to customers, to trading partners, and to the trust on which international transactions are built.

For me, this profession is much more than a career. It is part of the environment in which I grew up. The family business that laid the foundations for today's Total Cargo Inspection was founded by my father more than 35 years ago. During these decades, professional standards were established, significant practical experience was gained and a reputation based on competence, integrity and independence was created.

From an early age, I had the opportunity to learn about the specifics of various goods, cargo, and inspection processes. This naturally sparked my interest in the profession and gradually showed me how essential the role of independent expertise is for the security and success of every commercial transaction.

My desire to build on this practical experience led me to the University of Economics - Varna, where I graduated with a degree in "Commodity Science", and subsequently a master's degree in "Quality and Expertise of Goods". The training gave me in-depth knowledge of the various commodity groups, commodity chemistry and microbiology, packaging and labeling of goods, standardization, qualimetry, quality management and commodity legislation. I also completed training as a lead auditor of quality management systems, which expanded my professional training and my understanding of modern quality and control standards.

Today, Total Cargo Inspection combines over 35 years of practical experience with modern professional standards and a contemporary approach to inspection activities. The company continues to develop the expertise built over the years, offering independent and reliable solutions for the control of goods and cargo in various sectors of international trade.

I believe that the value of independent commodity control is not measured solely in inspection reports. It is measured in the trust it creates between partners, the security it provides to businesses, and the confidence that every decision is based on an objective and professional assessment.

This is the philosophy on which Total Cargo Inspection has built its work for more than three decades.
